Head to Head Comparison Between TeamViewer vs AnyDesk (Infographics)īelow are the top 12 differences between TeamViewer vs AnyDesk: A proprietary software offers high-quality video, transfer only minimum required data to the other side and hence it is lightweight and fast. Released in 2014 by AnyDesk Software GmbH in Germany with branches in the US and China. It is free for personal use and licensed for commercial use on the subscription model only. AR and VR functionalities are included in this tool to enhance its usage and it is integrated with many Collaboration and CRM platforms. Besides Windows, it supports Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Red Hat, Debian, Raspberry Pi, Fedora Linux, and all mobile applications. I am using Parsec since then and I have tried it and I can assure you that your life will be easier an enjoyable when you want to work outside of home (at work) or any where else in the world and like I said, its specialty is gaming so you can also play games on any computer that has a least a minimum configuration of hardware for the game that you will play on the computer that you are connected to.This software was released in the year 2005 by Rossmanith GmbH with the intention of installing software remotely and avoiding customer visits. Parsec is proprietary desktop capturing application primarily used for playing games through video streaming but it also can connect to your desktop and not only games. I have read and tried one of the best applications that I have been so blinded before and asked myself why haven’t I used this before… - PARSEC! Like I said, if you want to do something that’s simply working on a document or working with some explorer files that should be enough but if you are working on large projects or even gaming or doing anything else that basically has a lot of movement on the screen you are screwed. Honestly, TeamViewer, AnyDesk and all the majority remote desktop software do the job but just to manage something “lightweight” because in reality the connection quality is bad, the input delay is bad and sometimes it crashes. I have been using TeamViewer and AnyDesk for years now and honestly never changed until recently. Thanks so much to anyone who even offers suggestions it's been a pain trying to sort through all the outdated threads and complex pricing and "contact us" quotes.Įdit: thanks so much for the suggestions everyone! nice to see such a response! We don't need a quick simple way for end users to install, we need a reliable way to keep the system monitored and accessible. We would primarily be using it for unattended access or remote support on preconfigured devices. What remote control/access/desktop software do you use or recommend, and how has your experience been? Really would rather not have to play the firewall and IP game either btw, as some devices are moved between networks. ConnectWise so far has been nice but the iOS app is horrible and I still feel like the pricing is high. So I guess AnyDesk changed their plans (for the worse) and TeamViewer is the same awfulness as usual despite having maybe the most robust software.
